You know what’s crazy? I’ll tell you what’s crazy.
Black Friday Hype.
It started at O-dark thirty as Americans acted like savages and crashed the security gates of any number of box stores.
But Black Friday also includes the hyper drive of over sensationalized marketing gearing up for the game of the ages in Los Angeles Saturday.
USC v ND
Can abc or ESPN promote this matchup any more. I saw it on the food channel for Goodness Sakes. You really think food afficianados are counting down the hours?
So what’s at stake?
Well according to the sports pundits only the liberty and justice of the free sporting world.
USC has a rookie quarterback who has damn near guaranteed a win. Notre Dame is undefeated and it’s Irish Catholic fans ready to drink Los Angeles dry.
The rivalry is as storied as any in college sports.
USC is spoiler. If they win, it will make their season. They have nothing to lose, so the experts say.
Notre Dame is 11-0. If they win, they play for the national championship. They take care of their business, they are in.
The game is in Los Angeles and the crowd will be nuts.
Notre Dame is on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Could they get jinxed?
I hope so, but I doubt it.
It’s crazy.
