A tattoo jeopardizing the release of a movie.
The issue? One of the main characters wakes up to find his left eye encircled by dark tribal ink. The design is identical to the stain wrapping around the cranium of Mike Tyson who is in both films by the way.
While the idea of waking up to a face full of ink and not knowing how it got there is a pisser, the the real life tattoo artist isn’t laughing.
According to published reports, S. Victor Whitmill, inked the design on Tyson’s face and the artist says nobody asked him for his permission to put one on the fictional movie character.
According to published reports, the case is moving forward, and if the judge rules in the artist’s favor, it would effectively block the much-anticipated sequel from being released!
Warner Brothers has responded saying essentially; “dude, it’s a tattoo on a guy’s face? It’s not like it’s the Mona Lisa or the secret formula to Coke.”

The movie company claims delaying the film will cost millions in losses. The suits say the tattoo artists legal allegations are insane in the membrane, that they don’t fall under the Copyright Act and the only reason he is doing it is because Mike Tyson is a pop icon.
The movie moguls say there is no precedent for this lawsuit, but FOX NEWS says not so fast.
Soccer Stud, David Beckham was not allowed to show a tattoo he has for the same reason. His arm looks like bubonic plague and it’s hard to know which tattoo caused the problem.
