You know what’s crazy? I’ll tell you what’s crazy!™
A man so fat you can see him from outer space.
OK maybe you can’t see this dude from outer space, but he is so large, satellite mapping technology could not help but include him in its efforts to document every street in Great Britain.
DATELINE: ENGLAND
According to the Daily Mail, Bob Mewse weighed damn near 300 pounds.
300 pounds isn’t exactly Obese, unless you are five feet tall. It’s not Moby Dick obese, unless boats are following you with harppons. It’s not fire fighters cutting through the walls of your apartment to take you from your bed obese. But 300 pounds is a sizable human.
What makes Bob Mewse different is not his size, but the human magnetic field that seems to surround his girth.
Mewse tells news outlets that he was unhappy with the way he looked. But apparently seeing himself in the mirror wasn’t enough to change his life.
Google Street Mapping is a function where you punch in an address and it pops up as an actual photo of that location. We’ve all looked at our house in a 360-degree view and the technology is amazingly accurate.
But few of us punch in our own address and see ourselves frozen in time in a panoramic view of GPS proportions.
Bob Mewse has this distinct honor. The Bristol man Googled a street address and he shows up. The rotund Brit appears in all of his 360-degree glory, occupying the better part of a road.
“I was horrified when I saw that photo,” he told the Telegraph . “I was massive. My belly was sticking out and I looked huge.”
