You know what’s crazy? I’ll tell you what’s crazy™
Impeachment.
I’m not a fan of impeaching a President.
It’s like screaming F*** in a quiet church.
It’s like fondling someone on the subway while they ask you to stop.
It’s like spitting in someone’s face, then saying, “oh by the way, I have the Plague.”
The House is Blue. The Senate is Red. The White House is, well, you know how you feel about that, right?
I’m not here to sway you one way or the other. I don’t care.
I am an American who values his right to vote. Vote. Vote. Vote.
It’s how a democratic society works.
It’s worked this way since someone shouted the Red Coats are Coming! The Red Coats are Coming.
America is complicated, but simple.
One man. One vote. One woman. One Vote.
If you are an American Citizen then you get to vote. We take it for granted, it’s just so normal in our country.
“What are you doing today, Honey?”
“Oh, I’m going to buy bologna, pick up the dry cleaning, and Vote.”
You think anyone ever bought lunch meat and voted for anybody in North Korea?
That’s what I’m saying.
The last few months in Washington is a toilet stain that you want to clean, but you just don’t want to touch.
You don’t move the goal posts, you don’t remove someone from office because he might do something you don’t like in the future.
Politics doesn’t come with a Ouiji Board.
You Vote. Vote. Vote.
If you think the President isn’t doing a good job, then here’s an idea; Vote him out of office.
It ain’t rocket science.
Go to the polls next November and vote for the other candidate.
This country has weathered many storms since 1776. Think about it. The Civil War? 2 World Wars? A depression? Every decade has pulled down it’s pants and flashed us something inappropriate.
To many, this administration is the worst thing that America has ever had to endure.
Here’s a reality check. Go talk to your grandparents and ask them how they liked that bread line.
It’s simple. Vote. Vote. Vote.
Done.
Democracy is not that difficult to understand.
The election will be binding. The people’s voice will be heard.
62,000,000 people voiced their choice in 2016.
An almost equal number voted the other way.
Yeah democracy.
You win some. You lose some.
Live with it.
It’s only 4 years?
FOUR STINKIN YEARS!!
You can’t live with Democracy’s decision for 4 years?
The USA has been in business kicking ass and taking names for 244 years.
And half of America can’t wait 11 months to make a change?
America has been the apple of the World’s Eye for 2,928 months give or take.
TWO THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED, AND TWENTY EIGHT MONTHS OF DEMOCRACY.
To be more absurd; 244 YEARS = 89,119 days.
That’s how many days we have been going to polling booth as Americans and voting whoever the hell we want to elect.
No guns to our heads. No pressure to vote a candidate or our grandmother will be executed.
89,119 days. And you mean to tell me that WASHINGTON LAW MAKERS couldn’t last another 316 days, give or take?
316 DAYS TILL THE NEXT ELECTION WHEN DEMOCRACY SHALL RING TRUE!
.003 THAT’S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DIVIDE 89,119 days BY 316 days. I DON’T KNOW KNOW IF THAT’S EVEN A MATHEMATICAL FORMULA THAT IS ACCURATE, BUT THE NUMBER YOU GET WHEN YOU DO IT IS SUPER SUPER SMALL.
And that’s my point. One House of Congress wants to eradicate the vote of 62,000,000 Americans, because apparently they didn’t understand what they were doing when they pulled the lever and voted for whom they have a constitutional right to vote for.
And because there may be corruption in the next 11 months, one house of Congress is trying to remove a duly elected President that more than half of Americans voted for.
Just wait.
It’s only 316 days or so till America votes.
If you want to clean house? Clean House. It’s the American Way.
That’s the only thing that is real. It was the only thing that was real 89,000 days ago. It’s the only thing that will be real 316 days from now.
Like many Americans, I walked past the TV sets all tuned to Impeachment. It was like visual water torture.
Isn’t there a cricket match on ESPN Desportes I thought to myself more than once?
The impeachment vote and the hearings leading up to it for the last several months has been like a sad slow motion foreplay wearing oven mits and a wet suit. The House Vote to Impeach was like climaxing by yourself in space with zero friction.
In the end did you really feel anything? Was it good for you too?
I’m not commenting on whether the phone call was perfect. I have my own thoughts on the lopsided representation going on in Washington now a days by everyone.
I just want to remind the idiots in Washington that we voted them in, and we can vote them out.
That includes the President of the USA.
It’s worked that way for 89,000 plus days.
